Inside Sitka’s Latest Updates: Faster Tools, Smarter Journeys, Deeper Insight

In our latest release, we’ve focused on removing friction and giving organisers, exhibitors, and attendees a smoother, smarter event experience.

Events move fast. Exhibitors expect tools that help them work quickly. Attendees expect smooth journeys. Organisers expect clarity, reliability, and insight they can actually use.

In our latest release, we’ve focused on removing friction and giving organisers, exhibitors, and attendees a smoother, smarter event experience.

Here’s what’s new:

Lead capture and exhibitor tools

Exhibitors get faster scanning, clearer attribution, and smarter tools that cut friction from every step of their workflow.

  • Quicker scanning and cleaner workflows: Lead scans now return straight to the lead list with a confirmation message, making the process noticeably faster. Notes can be added later from the lead detail screen. The scan button has also been redesigned so it’s instantly recognisable.
  • Sorting options for leads: Exhibitors can now sort their leads by scan order, name, date, or time. It’s easier to find recent conversations, especially during busy periods.
  • Clear attribution on offers: Each offer now shows the exhibitor’s company name under the headline, making the source obvious at a glance.
  • Smarter appointment nudges: Attendees who view or bookmark an exhibitor will now receive contextual prompts if appointment slots are still available. It’s a simple touch that drives more meetings.
  • Team access for exhibitor portals: Exhibitors can now grant portal access to additional colleagues using a quick toggle. No bottlenecks, no delays.
  • Smarter defaults for featured products: The first uploaded product is now set as the default featured product. Exhibitors can still change it, but nobody ends up with an empty showcase.

Attendee experience

Attendees get quicker access, smarter ways to discover exhibitors, and clearer communication throughout the event.

  • Upgraded OTP login: A redesigned one-time passcode system now delivers faster, more reliable access across email and mobile.
  • Appointment availability filters: Visitors can now filter the directory to show only exhibitors with open appointment slots. One tap, and they can see who’s ready to meet.
  • Tap-to-filter categories: Product and exhibitor category tags are now interactive. Tap a tag and the directory filters instantly, making discovery significantly easier.e.
  • Notification history: A new notification centre keeps every update in one place, so messages aren’t lost once dismissed.
  • Scheduled notifications for organisers: Organisers can now schedule notifications to send automatically at set times. Announcements land exactly when they’re needed, even when teams are busy elsewhere.

We're really proud of the way this new release focuses on reducing friction and elevating the experience for everyone. Organiser pain points are always at the forefront of our development and it's clear to see here. With this release, we're heading into 2026 with richer intelligence and a more connected event ecosystem.

Attendee Intelligence – deeper insight for organisers and exhibitors

Organisers and exhibitors gain sharper, more actionable insight that turns attendee behaviour into decisions they can use immediately.

  • Dwell time, passing traffic and personas: Exhibitors can now see dwell time, passing traffic counts, and aggregate persona insights (where included in their package). It helps teams quantify interest and tailor their conversations and follow-up.
  • Registration-based reporting filters: Organisers can now filter behavioural reporting by registration fields such as job role, industry, and buying intent. It supports sharper targeting and stronger planning for future events.

Built for today, ready for what’s ahead

These updates focus on speed, clarity, and better insight across the whole event ecosystem. Future updates will build on this with deeper intelligence tools, more self-serve power for exhibitors, and expanded navigation capabilities for high-footfall events.

If you’d like a walkthrough, we’d love to show you what’s possible and what this unlocks for your next event.
