Our story
Sitka was born from a simple idea: events should work better for everyone.
How it started
Having spent years as a UI designer specialising in asset tracking and connected systems, founder Will Bayne saw how similar technology could tackle some of the biggest challenges in the event industry.
Inspired by how disconnected systems and paper-based processes wasted resources and stifled potential, he set out to create something more efficient that delivered better event experiences for all – and what started as sketches on a page quickly evolved into Sitka.
From the beginning, Will surrounded himself with expert advisors and investors, including event organisers, venue owners, and technology specialists. Their insight and expertise helped shape Sitka into a platform tailored to the real needs of the industry.
Our journey
What began with indoor navigation and mobile apps has evolved into a complete event success platform, including lead capture, real-time analytics and exciting event sponsorship opportunities to boost revenue.
